If our family or any friends ever need skilled nursing care, without a doubt I will tell them about River Ridge. I was a resident at this facility and I was transferred due to a broken femur. The nursing staff and therapists were very kind and helpful.
It is difficult when you have family visiting or even caring for him. It looks OK, but we don’t see anybody sanitizing anything between patients. We take our own cleansers and clean the room ourselves.

They have a new Administer who is very nice but unfortunately there are SO many problems he hasn’t been able to address them all. There is a high staff turnover and they had a recent resident wander out the door of the main facility. I looked at the memory unit and the staff is HORRIBLE. I only saw one man and a petite women helping the residents. I have witnessed them talking ugly and yelling at the 4 residents in the memory unit.
